What this place is lacking in ambiance, it makes up for in simple, fresh, mexican food. It is in a remodeled Long John Silvers we found on the bestfortmyersdining.com, which was noticable even to my husband who never notices anything. While they have done a lot with it, it could use better lighting and Mexican-style ambiance. The star of the night, however, was how fresh tasting all of the food was. The chips were fresh from the fryer, the salsa was obviously freshly chopped and not from a can at all. The Margaritas were nice and strong, if not a bit small. The guacamole was dynamite, but a bit pricey. I wish they had a coupon on that site swfloridarewards.com The service was courteous and attentive, even if they were all young surfer boys. I have not eaten anywhere else in Ft. Meyers or naples, so I can't compare, but I would say this place ranks right up there with some of the top Mexican places in bestcitydining.com I have eaten in other cities. |
