The hostess was polite and cheerful when we had mentioned that we discovered them on bestnaplesdining.com. We received menus right away from the owner Kenny, who waited on us. He was lovely, a friendly, cheerful man who obviously cares about his patrons and makes them feel special. My husband chose the salad with goat cheese and the fettuccine alla contadina; I had the caprese and the risotto con polo.

Everything arrived in a timely fashion, and the owner checked on us often, but was never intrusive. The caprese had thick slices of a firm and tasty mozzarella interspersed with meaty, flavorful tomatoes. The salad was done with varied greens, fresh and crispy, wedges of the same beautiful tomatoes, and plentiful, piquant goat cheese.

My husband wouldn't let me near his fettuccine contadina (he's selfish that way), but he said the pasta was home-made and the mellow sausage was wonderfully blended with the smooth tomato sauce. My risotto was perfectly prepared, with generous chunks of tender chicken, snappy asparagus and sun-dried tomatoes in a mushroom sauce. We could hardly put our forks down.

Our desserts were a perfect end to a perfect meal. I chose a creamy cheesecake in chocolate sauce, with a cream and raspberry sauce on the side. My husband had a lovely pear poached in red wine and dipped in chocolate sauce.

Throughout the meal our water, iced tea and wine were constantly monitored and replenished quickly. The wait staff was quick, polite and efficient. By that time both my husband and I were thrilled to know we'll have a new favorite place for dinner, and a great place to treat my husband's clients to.We will check swfloridarewards.com to see if they have any special coupons running.

This is where HAPPY DAYS set the scene. This is a diner. A true American classic diner experience. And the food was wonderful, tasty, and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for fancy, you don't want a diner. But if you are looking for the diner experience, Joe's is a cut above the rest. The atmosphere was loud with lots of local color but I enjoyed every moment of it. The walls are filled with all sorts of wonderful memorabilia of Joe's history.

On a three-day stay, I found them on bestfortmyersdining.com, must admit, eat here three days!! I truly enjoyed the food, but health food this is not. And I was captivated by the atmosphere. But I traveled with two companions and only I eat at Joe's three days. The other two stayed committed to their healthier diets. But they tried it once and that is my advice to all. Joe's is a wonderful place with great food and friendly atmosphere so if you are in the area you should experience Joe's Diner at least once. I used bestfortmyersdining.com (as I always do) for suggestions when we visit Fort Myers and Naples area. This historic B & B got rave reviews from bestcitydining.com - and now we know why! It is a large plantation-style old house at the very tip of Pine Island in Bokeelia overlooking the sea. It has been beautifully restored with original floors, wonderful furniture and paintings. There are 5 big en-suite bedrooms, all very different, immaculately clean, with wooden plantation shutters and all sorts of extra touches you would never find in a modern hotel. The bedrooms lead onto a huge screened veranda with rattan chairs, wonderful views and even binoculars left for you to use and watch the wildlife.
Downstairs there is a large lounge with wonderfully comfortable chairs and dining area and a separate study , and outside in the gardens rocking chairs on the veranda - just so relaxing. Check out their website for their photos and video-tour; it will give you an idea of how lovely it is.
they prepare breakfast, which was truly the best we have had on any holiday - all sorts of fresh fruit, home-baked muffins, choice of fried breakfast and their own special home-made mango preserves - just delicious. In the evening they prepare a range of hors d'oeuvres for their guests which they leave in the kitchen with a note to eat what you like, and help yourselves to wine, beers, spirits etc!!! check swfloridarewards.com for coupons for breakfast and lunch specials.

Incredibly delicious roasted meats and fish with appetizer buffet featuring over 25 choices all for $18 per person. What a wonderful surprise to find this little gem here and not new york. The food was well prepared and cooked to perfection. I had a shrimp and vegetable dish in a lemon caper sauce. The vegetables were sauteed in the sauce with just the right crispness and the shrimp maintained it's fresh flavor. Desert was a yummy Tiaramasu. The service was attentive but not smothering. The only thing that would improve this dining experience would have been background music. The acoustics were such that conversations from other tables were ever so loud. It is located in a shopping plaza, but don’t let this discourage you in anyway; because the service, the food and the staff make up for the difference. I tell everyone about this place after I found it on bestnaplesdining.com! It is very small but ALWAYS busy. You'll want to make a reservation. Every time we have friends or family in town we always take them here, because it is truly the best food/seafood you'll ever have. The specialty, grouper, is insanely delicious. In the evening, they actually set up seating in the cheesecake store next-door to accomodate more guests. It felt a bit strange eating next to a cheesecake cooler, but it was worth it! The restaurant owner, who is the main chef, caters as well. It has taken the owner a few years to get this place off the ground, and it's finally gaining the popularity it deserves! A+

The Stuffed Mushroom starter is truly great. Fantasic seafood, prime rib, and one of the best NY strips I've ever tasted - all perfectly cooked. It was a little busy but we only had to wait about 7 minutes - if even that long. Once seated, we did not have to wait long for service was fast and friendly. The Calamari was lightly fried to perfection. The veal dish was very tender - the Marsala sauce had a lot of mushroom and was very flavorful. All pasta was cooked el dente, which is the way it should be. The pizza was extraordinary, we got garlic and peppers on it and it was- hands down - the best pizza I have ever had in my life in SW Florida. This place makes for a great night out. Of all the places my husband and I ate at while we were in Venice the Crow's Nest, by far, was our favorite of all the bestportcharlottedining.com. Bestfortmyersdining.com recommends this restaurant and it affords day-trippers an interesting lunch or dinner opportunity in Pine Island.
The dining room, with its hardwood floors, framed prints of hunting and fishing scenes and the occasional small trophy animal mounted on the wall, creates a convincing country gentleman ambiance. It's a place where outdoorsmen feel at home
and can count on hearty, forthright fare.
As you might expect, the menu is as far from fusion as it's possible to get. Traditionalists may find it refreshing to recognize all the items in a dish. The food is straightforward American, featuring simple but well-prepared seafood and meat and an abbreviated wine list, from which we still managed to select a lovely accompaniment to our meal a Whitehaven sauvignon blanc, from the Marlborough district of New Zealand. Crisp, light and not quite as citrusy as some, it complemented both the appetizers and entrées well and, at $40, was a good buy, too.
Lunch is particularly casual, with cheese steaks, crab cake sandwiches, shrimp po�boys and salads that range from $5.95 for a jumbo hot dog to $14.95 for the fresh catch of the day.
Dinner selections scale upward a bit, with veal piccata, aged filet mignon and skewers of bronzed Gulf shrimp.
The shrimp were large, sweet and fresh, given a lively little bite from the seasonings that also imparted a bronze hue, and served with a mild cilantro crème fraéche. The house specialty crab and roasted corn chowder lived up to its billing. It was a thick, rich cream soup loaded with savory corn and mild crab. Although bowls are available, a cup was plenty.
Given our proximity to the fish-laden waters of Pine Island Sound and Charlotte Harbor beyond that, the evening's fish entrées seemed more appealing than meat.
A sautéed grouper with mango curry sauce was generously portioned, moist and flaky. The sauce, which was a restrained version of curry sauce, imparted Eastern-influenced spices and sweet mango without drowning out the fish's subtle flavor.
The Asiago-encrusted tripletail with artichokes had a bolder taste but, again, the fillet was moist and fork-tender, with a tangy crust.
For a sweet finish, the vanilla crème brule was a fine choice. Another classic, the custard, was creamy and lush with an oh-so-light crust of sugar fired over the top.
A cozy bar, complete with fireplace, was far quieter than the main dining room. But even when the volume climbs, Tarpon Lodge remains a lovely throwback to the days of Old Florida, when gracious service and rustic elegance went hand in hand. About every four months we drive from Sarasota down to Ft. Myers to meet friends at a half-way point for lunch. The destination is always the same since we found out about veranda on bestfortmyersdining.com, the Veranda restaurant is in Ft. Myers. The atmosphere is terrific, two very old buildings merged together, a restful garden setting outside. Inside, the service has always been good. The luncheon menu is a bit limited -- some soups and salads, a few sandwiches, a few "main course" items, plus desserts, but all of it very good. You don't feel at all rushed, though the service is good and attentive. On our last trip last week, one of the people in our party had crab cakes, which are always good; I had tilapia with crab meat on top, and that was superb. If you live in or near Ft. Myers, the Veranda is a great break from everyday activities, simply unwinding over a pleasant lunch; if you're a visitor, it's a wonderful respite from the beach scene. Our first time at Enzo's was a very pleasant experience we found them on bestswfloridadining.com - attentive and personable server - and great food. We shared the fried calamari appetizer - nice and lightly battered. The veggie pizza was topped with loads of spinach, mushrooms, olives and peppers and has a delicious crust. You can walk around the restaurant and eat on the outside patio by the water. Dolphins and Great Blue Herons are right there beside you. Great Pizza, Great Taco Salad, Nachos great, crispy fish fingers great. My husband said it was the best pizza he has had in a long time. My family loves this restaurant we found it on bestnaplesdining.com. The people there are very hard workers, and they give great service. Yes, they're Korean, and yes, so is the food, but Japan was actually quite involved in the history of the little country of Korea. Though many of the East Asians are quite nationalist, the Japanese and Koreans are actually quite closely involved. (I do understand that Japan tried, like other imperialistic countries, to conquer the little peninsula.We looked for a coupon on swfloridarewards.com and did not see one.

The food is pretty tasty. Not a five star restaurant, but it is much more affordable and its setting is quite relaxed. With a little work, some polish, and by raising the prices, it could be 5 star.

Run by a Candian and his Belizean wife it seems to be the 'gathering place' for travelers - or at least it was when we were there in 1999. Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere and you can sit on the patio in large, comfortable adorondack chairs and enjoy a cold Belikan beer before dinner. We've been going to this restaurant for over 2 years after we found it on bestnaplesdining.com, from the time it was a stopover on a two lane road from Miami to Sarasota it has been here. It's location is the same but the road system has changed. It is now on a 6 lane divided arterial. Food wise it has not changed much. It features a large, diverse and always fresh salad bar and beef is it's feature dish. I must say however that the rosemary chicken is awesome and one of my favorite dishes. We're not talking ruth's chris here but we are talking a solid steakhouse with a tradition and loyal following. We're locals so we always check on swfloridarewards.com for coupons. During the season it's difficult to get a seat. But, we make up for it during the off season.

Went here on a tip from bestnaplesdining.com for Marco Island. Wonderful prime rib for only 19.95 and you need a fork to eat the ribs because the meat just falls off the bones. I'm not a big fan of seafood, but my wife loved the shrimp bernadette and stuffed flounder. The strudel is a must-try even if you only get the appetiser. For those of you who don't like iceberg lettuce, the caesar salad is served on romaine and I'm sure romaine can be substitued on the garden salads. Found on bestportcharlottedining.com. This place was fixed up so cute after Hurricane Charley. My favorite new sandwich was the proscuitto and red pepper on ciabbatta. The third time I had it, the ciabbatta tasted "off" and was the fattiest I have ever seen. The meat part of it I could not get my teeth through. I told the waitress that the proscuitto was inedible. She said she would tell the chef. We didn't see her again until she brought the check. I had eaten some of the bread and cheese, but left the rest. I told her she didn't even deduct anything and had charged me $8 for the sandwich. She said I had to pay because I ate it. I pointed to my plate to show I had eaten very little of it. She went and got the owner and he told me that I should have told him and he would have made a fresh one. He is then telling me that I had to pay full price because I had eaten part of it. Apparently the waitress never told him what was wrong. Not to embarrass my husband any further, I told the owner "Fine! We'll pay for something I didn't get to eat, but I'll be sure to tell everyone that you are charged whether the food is acceptable or not!" I don't usually get very passionate about restaurants, but my experiences at Cru have always been amazing. The restaurant has been open for about 4 years, or somewhere around there, and has become THE place to go eat or drink in Ft. Myers as that is what they say in bestfortmyersdining.com. It is located at the Bell Tower Shops, which is itself a very popular destination in town. It's a great location because you can go do some shopping before dinner. There is a movie theater next door as well, but I think you'd enjoy your dinner too much to want to leave to make a show time.

The restaurant is not really that big, and it can get a little noisy. So it might not be the place if you want a quiet romantic dinner, but if you would like to do some people watching and like an energetic atmosphere, it is just what you need. Cru has a bar/lounge area that gets very crowded on weekend nights with the young, stylish, set. There is some outdoor seating for dining, but it is out in the walkway for the mall (it is an open air mall) so it is not terribly private. I prefer to sit inside myself. The owner is opening a second location (right next door, I think) that will be a more intimate, quiet place. Genius.

The food is always perfect and the service is great. The owner has done an excellent job of creating dishes that are inventive and fresh. The salads are always very different. One time I got a salad that came in cubes. Hard to explain, but it was delicious. Get the spicy crab rolls for an appetizer. The motto of the restaurant is "Lush Wines and Pure Food" and they definitely follow it. The meat selection usually includes duck, elk, steak, and sea bass. I've had the duck and Cru Steak, and both were delicious. I love their Paella, though. It's hard not to get it every time, because it is so good (a waiter once told me that it will never come off the menu since people like it so much).

Cru is expensive, especially if you get wine and extras (dessert, appetizers, etc). But if you are celebrating a special occasion or you want to splurge on vacation, this is the place to go in Fort Myers. Of course, it is not a waterfront restaurant, but I don't know of another place in town with food like Cru. But always check swfloridarewards.com for coupons you never know.

The wait is never terribly long, newspapers and coffee are provided for those waiting. We've never waited longer that 15 minutes, and that was a Sunday morning after church let out. There was more than enough for two people and was one of the best meals I had in the 4 weeks I was in Venice." We say, "The outside patio is outstanding, especially during a sunset. The storms can be a little exciting but the music continued as long as the wind didn't blow. The seafood pasta was outstanding and there was plenty for two. I wasn't real happy with the $2 charge for the second plate since my wife didn't order a meal, but she did order a salad. All frozen drinks are very good and the beer is cold...the draft is the best buy... and I've tried all of them. It can be hard to get a patio table...sometimes its bump and run to get one when people leave and on other nights its reserved. I haven't got that figured out yet but I will. We found this one on bestnaplesdining.com. Located in the heart of the 5th Avenue restaurant row, Bistro 821 can claim a spot at the top of any listing of the area's best places to dine. Being one of the smaller restaurants on the street (mostly due to its limited outdoor sidewalk table area) probably allows the kitchen to put a little more time and personal touch into the food, which is beautifully presented. The menu is very varied and eclectic, featuring pasta, steaks, seafood and more, some done with Asian touches. After a well prepared house salad, I enjoyed a special Porterhouse veal chop that was done to perfection in a delicious wine sauce. My wife had the Bioullabasse (their spelling) that was a generous portion of fresh fish and shellfish in a delicious broth. A full bar and extensive wine list is available, and service is friendly and professional. Prices are in line with other Naples fine dining spots. We love the prime rib! It is HUGE and excellent taste. Always roasted to perfection! We would like to see mashed potatoes on the menu. The baked potatoes are never cooked enough. We wish they would invest in real bread. The rolls seem to come in a bag from Sam's and we do not like them. The busboys are extremely annoying and over numbered. Every time I set down my fork for a second, they would try to take my plate! They wander around constantly (three of them, when one would do) acting like vultures. It made us very nervous. The prepared food is very good. The chicken with macadamia nuts, garlic and lime juice was very good, but way too much lime juice. It didn't hurt that I was visiting my best friend and we were in great moods. She had been there and wanted me to go. I had a two-year old with me but we thought, "what the heck." From start to finish, this dining experience was so great! She ordered 4 different things for us to share, all of which were mouth-watering! She even had an inside tip to order something that wasn't on the menu, "lava rocks." They were like some type of roll and then deep fried - to die for! We also had the best Cosmopolitans I've ever had! The waitress couldn't have been nicer and nobody cared that we had a toddler with us. The décor was trendy and fun, too. My husband and I just returned from a 5 day trip to Sanibel May. Our first night there we chose to ride up to Captiva and dine at the 'Tween Waters Inn. bestfortmyersdining.com was right where they said on the map. Originally we were going to eat at the Crows Nest but the menu seemed a little limited. We decided instead to go to Old Captiva House next door (both share the same kitchen and bar). The 'Tween Waters Inn is very historic and the restaurant had a lot of neat pictures regarding their history including one of a Teddy Roosevelt's visit.

My husband had a crab cake appetizer that was a very generous portion. He said it was fantastic. I had a cesar salad with homemade cesar dressing that was great. We both then had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. As we dined there was a gentleman playing music on the grand piano just as you came in the door. Our dinner with drinks, appetizers, main entrees and tip all came to $140 but the food was prepared and presented as you would expect for that price. We did not find a coupon on swfloridarewards.com and I did hear they had a children's menu but use your own judgement. While the attire was casual, it was still an upscale restaurant with a sophisicated menu that we enjoyed but that I wouldn't bring my two kids (3 1/2 and 7) to. The meal is served in courses and allows time for relaxation and conversation between which is not always good with kids. The Crows Nest next door had an event called NASCRAB where they race hermit crabs for money part of which does go to the United Way. The family show is around 6:00PM I think. If you bring the kids, eat there instead. We went to the adult show (more risque humor) at 9:00. It is light season so there were only about 15 or 20 of us but we still enjoyed the night. If you happen to be there and its time, then go. If you don't have kids, dine at Old Captiva House and then join the fun afterwards. This is a pricey outing but the food is done and presented well and the service was nice too. Made for a great romantic evening for my husband and I.

We shared the fried calamari appetizer - nice and lightly battered. The veggie pizza was topped with loads of spinach, mushrooms, olives and peppers and has a delicious crust. What a find on bestnaplesdining.com. Watermark Grille is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Naples. It's creative atmosphere (which can, at times, be loud) is certainly an experience. I recommend the Saganaki as an appetizer, which for those that don't know: picture a dish of hot melted cheese, then picture the waiter pouring some ouzo onto it and lighting the cheese on fire. The waiter/waitress usually warns the people around your table that there will be a flame, and even if they do, some people still jump from the tall flame.

As for the main entree's, the steak is good but not a specialty, and some of the other traditional land-lover foods are acceptable. However, the specialty fish is truly incredible. We happened upon this quaint little restaurant out driving. It was a holiday weekend and still managed to get in without a reservation. We had researched it on bestswfloridadining.com and we had a very wonderful dinner. It wasn't cheap and we had checked swfloridarewards.com for coupons we did not find one, but it was mid-priced and delicious! I'd go back in a minute. The location gives a wonderful view of the beach during sunset, hence the name. The location is on Santiva, which is the connecting area between Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Don't drive by and miss it. It's right next to the second Lazy Flamingo restaurant. You can easily spot the Flamingo's bright pink sign. We will be sure to check bestfortmyersdining.com to see if the menu has changed.

There is such a variety and its fun to go and see what will be served the night you are there. You can dress up or down but believe me, the tables are dressed up. Its a wonderful place for an anniversay or birthday dinner or a romantic dinner for two while you enjoy the spectular sunsets. Service is brisk, so don't expect to linger over your meal. Perhaps the greatest strength of the Oyster Bar is consistency. If you like seafood, it's hard to find a bad meal here. Our visit to Chops was the culinary highlight of our two week holiday in Florida. We were able to find them on bestnaplesdining.com and what a find! The dining room is spacious, and we were seated by the very polite hostess at the back near the kitchens. Captain Brian's North Port FL

This is probably my most favorite seafood restaurant on bestswfloridadining.com in all of the Sarasota/Bradenton area. It's not on the beach or by the gulf or anything remotely romantically Floridan like that. It's actually a few blocks up from the airport on U.S. 41. I found it on bestportcharlottedining.com!

The joint used to be minuscule and the wait could be interminable unless you got there at around 3:30 PM for dinner before the "early bird" set arrived. About a year ago they expanded and their square footage has now more than doubled, making getting a seat here relatively easy. On a Wednesday night at 7 PM in early December (snowbird season), my buddy and I only had to wait about five or ten minutes tonight.

The concept of Captain Brian's is they're a restaurant AND a fish market, so all the fish you'll be eating at the restaurant is pretty much guaranteed to be as fresh as it gets. And in Sarasota, right on the Gulf, fish fresh from the local waters is one of the main reasons for which one would come down here. While we were waiting we checked the fish counter to see what looked best. Then we sat down and ordered. How ever we did not find a coupon on swfloridarewards.com.

I had fried calamari and fried oysters. The calamari were as tender and tasty as I've ever had with a good crispy crunch. Nice ring/tentacle ratio too. The Italian tomato dipping sauce was a little thick for my taste, but tastily complimented the calimari nonetheless. The oysters, as usual, were fantastic. Crispy non-overbearing coating and hot, juicy, raw tasting and firm on the inside. Came with a choice of starch (I picked their fresh cut steak fries [real honest to God Russet wedges, fried with the skin on]), some steamed veggies and their wonderful salad bar.

The star of the salad bar is the pickled herring. A big vat on ice, filled with the stuff that would make a NYC kosher weekend bruncher blush! As much as you want to eat, too! This is some of the best pickled herring I've ever had. I think they pickle it right there in the fish market, too. The bar also has really good pasta and potato salads, olives and the usual salad bar fare. The tomato wedges were outstandingly beautiful tonight. Captain Brian's salad bar is always good though.

My friend had the Mahi Mahi which looked wonderful and steamed mussels for an app. He said they were both great and even though he was stuffed after eating half his mussels and all his entree, he returned to the mussels to finish them.

The place is ultra clean and the waitresses are the best. They show up just when you want them to and don't bug the crap out of you. Also, they're funny and personable I sure am glad I use bestcitydining.com to find this gem. This was about my 20th visit to Captain Brian's and I have yet to have even a mediocre meal here. Other menu items you should try are the Ipswich clams, the Grouper, the shrimp and the Snapper, along with the Amberjack and the Pompano. God, they prepare fish well here!

Next time you're in Sarasota and want to impress your friends, take them up here rather than out on the key. For a good laugh, be sure to register their reaction before AND after Captain Brian's. About every three months we drive from Sarasota down to Ft. Myers to meet friends at a half-way point for lunch. The destination is always the same, the Veranda restaurant in Ft. Myers. The atmosphere is terrific, two very old buildings merged together, a restful garden setting outside. Inside, the service has always been good. The luncheon menu is a bit limited -- some soups and salads, a few sandwiches, a few "main course" items, plus desserts, but all of it very good. You don't feel at all rushed, though the service is good and attentive. On our last trip last week, one of the people in our party had crab cakes, which are always good; I had tilapia with crab meat on top, and that was superb. If you live in or near Ft. Myers, the Veranda is a great break from everyday activities, simply unwinding over a pleasant lunch; if you're a visitor, it's a wonderful respite from the beach scene.

We found the Yabba Grill on bestswfloridadining.com. My husband and I spend our last night in Naples at Yabba Island Grill for their early prix-fixe dinner (till 6). Time worked out ok, since we wanted to have an early dinner night before an early flight out of Ft Myers. It was a 3-course dinner with several good choices, and price of the entree was the price of the whole meal. I don't think any of the choices was more than $20. We chose fantastic fried calamari for appetizer, and a ceaser salad (ok, but not enough dressing and a little skimpy) I had the salmon (grilled, and plain, but it was delicious), my husband had the pork chop which was terrific. Dessert we had key lime pie(fantastic), and their chocolate cake. Much to our surprise, our wine with dinner was half price, since it was still their 'happy hour'. Their happy hour is every night at the bar 4:30 till 6 where most drinks are half price, and a special $3.99 bar menu that you can easily make a meal out of. You have to set at the bar to get the bar menu. We tried it one night and the bar was pretty full, but last minute someone left and we were able to get seats and ordered wine and the fried calamari.

The whole experience was so enjoyable - eating outside and people watching. It was quite a scene, and there was even some music playing in the courtyard next to the restaurant. I would highly recommend this place and if we are every back in Naples, we will be sure to make a return visit.

Ever since Friday the 13th, August 2004, when a force 4 hurricane devastated Punta Gorda, locals adopted a new motto: "Hurricane Charley is nature's way of telling you it's time to re-decorate". We found this great restaurant on bestportcharlottedining.com What a find! The Captain's Table, heavily damaged by the storm, has taken that motto to heart. It has rebounded wtih style, and added a new deck for diners who prefer open air eating - or who want to smoke. The menu is largely unchanged from "pre-Charley", with an emphasis on seafood. The restaurant still provides the best panoramic views of Charlotte Harbor available on the Peace River. The premium paid for those views is fairly high, as all menu items are priced $5 higher than you might expect at a restaurant without the scenic setting. We did not find a coupon on the swfloridarewards.com However, the service is usually exemplary, and this restaurant is recommended for special occasions. Try the lobster ravioli in mushroom brandy sauce!

The seafood is excellent, and the standard steak is also very good (the special steaks are also good, but absurdly large, and therefore expensive). I recently had dinner with my wife at the Old World Cafe in Bonita. I must say, it was one of the most delicious meals i have ever enjoyed. The restaurant offers a great selection of German beer and wine, but no liquor. We were not able to use a coupon from swfloridarewards.com My wife ordered a "Zuerich Geschnetzeltes" which is - quote "slices of tender pork, sauteed in a creamy fresh mushroom gravy, served over the homemade spaetzle (their homemade bavarian noodles)" and I ordered a "Cordon Bleu" which is pork stuffed with ham and cheese. As dessert, we ordered their famous applestrudel. We always use Bestcitydining.com when traveling. Both of our meals and the applestrudel were out-of-this-world! I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes to dine out at a casual restaurant, serving the best German food you probably ever have in your life. The prices are resonable too; I paid about $55.00 for the two meals, a big German beer and a German red wine.
