The Celtic Ray Public house is a traditional Irish pub with music and of course great beer and great food! We found them on bestportcharlottedining.com and I'm so glad! The Celtic Ray Public House in downtown Punta Gorda opened in 1997. They serve beers, bottled beers and ciders. There menu features traditional Irish Pub food, One of the most common phrases you will hear at the Pub is "this is the best fish and chips in the world..." Good service everything came fast to the table even though the place was packed. excellent fried fish we had the grouper -soups are very good you should try the split pea, menu selection good had a hard time to figure out what to pick - good people, we will come back again.

Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Awesome Italian cuisine in Venice FL."We had dinner with friends at Mama Leone's on Jacaranda Rd. on a tip from bestportcharlottedining.com we thought we would give it a try. It was a little busy but we only had to wait about 7 minutes - if even that long. Once seated, we did not have to wait long for service was fast and friendly. The Calamari was lightly fried to perfection. The veal dish was very tender - the Marsala sauce had a lot of mushroom and was very flavorful. All pasta was cooked el dente, which is the way it should be. The pizza was extraordinary, we got garlic and peppers on it and it was- hands down - the best pizza I have ever had in my life in SW Florida. This place makes for a great night out. I hope they will put a coupon on swfloridarewards.com again soon.

I look forward to every visit at the golden corral with my wife and mother-in-law. Although I'd like to lose a few pounds, I believe I'm addicted to your scrumptious fried chicken, don't ever change it. My husband and I ate at Charley's Boathouse Grill in early November, 2007, while vacationing in the Fort Myers, Naples area. We always use bestcitydining.com when on a vacation. We were not familiar with the restaurant but the parking lot was mobbed and we had read about it on bestfortmyersdining.com so we thought it was probably good. I was very skeptical at first because it seemed a bit pricey but by the time we left we both agreed that it had been a very nice dinner I guess we should have checked swfloridarewards.com for a coupon. We certainly got an ample amount of food and everything tasted good. I still think it's a little pricey but I would definitely consider going there again next time I'm vacationing in the area next year.

The Albritton family who own the Fishery have been in the fishing industry for generations that why it gets better and better. Recently took on new owners and this place is just as great as before. The owner is a great guy, very friendly, always there. Staff is always nice. Big bagel as well as food selection. Fresh made daily! Go here if you love breakfast! They open at 6am...and close around 2pm i believe. Always check swfloridarewards.com before you go pick up a dozen for coupons.

This was the place we often picked for our evening meal on the weekend while living in PG. We found it on bestportcharlottedining.com. Run by a Candian and his Belizean wife it seems to be the 'gathering place' for travelers - or at least it was when we were there in 1999. Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere and you can sit on the patio in large, comfortable adorondack chairs and enjoy a cold Belikan beer before dinner. Good variety of foods served for both vegetarians and carnivores. Also,always check swfloridarewards.com to see if they have any coupons for both of the restaurants in Punta Gorda or Naples.

Seeing this restaurant on bestswfloridadining.com and the crowded lot, we went for it and were very pleasantly surprised. GREAT smokey flavor, some of the best bar b cued beans ever, great service and good value we did not find a coupon on swfloridarewards.com though...we will go back. Lunch specials look good and the sides include black eyed peas and sweet potatos which is unusual too. Do not get detured by the lines it go's fast and we had a cold drink from the bar.

There is a little British Pub off of 41 and Pelican Landing. You wouldn't think that there would be anything so mouth watering good in there. But you are wrong. Trust me! Have you heard from www.bestportcharlottedining,com. I recently attended the Sarasota Culinary Classic chefs competition at the Sarasota Yacht Club. 12 of the areas finest chefs were competing. They each had to make an app an entree and a dessert. they were judged in the kitchen by the American culinary Federation and also on taste and presentation. When the winners were annouced a Chef from Englewood won all three gold medals. It turned out his name was Richard Drumgool from Prime Time Steak and Spirits in Englewood.Ever since then we have been going to Prime Time to eat he truly is the best Chef Around. Chloe's is excellent for a fine dining experience. They have good vegetarian options and the staff were very accomodating to create unique vegetarian dishes for us as well. The staff were great in general, they didn't have the bottle of wine that we ordered so they gave us the more expensive one for the same price. Now that's service. The food tasted exceptional and the presentation was beautiful too. If you are looking for a fancy night out at Fort Myers Beach and are sick of all the cheap pubs, definitely give Chloe's a try. We love the prime rib! It is HUGE and excellent taste. Always roasted to perfection! We would like to see mashed potatoes on the menu. The baked potatoes are never cooked enough. We wish they would invest in real bread. The rolls seem to come in a bag from Sam's and we do not like them. The busboys are extremely annoying and over numbered. Every time I set down my fork for a second, they would try to take my plate! They wander around constantly (three of them, when one would do) acting like vultures. It made us very nervous. The prepared food is very good. The chicken with macadamia nuts, garlic and lime juice was very good, but way too much lime juice. Eat dinner first and then stroll on the gulf beach across the street! Check to see If they have coupons on swfloridarewards.com.

Owned by well known residents, John and Christine Zagrobelny, the Olde World offers good food with a "unique" atmosphere. Some of my menu favorites include the Belgian waffles for breakfast, broccoli and cheese quiche or the 1/2 sandwich and soup special for lunch and the Rueben sandwich or grouper for dinner.
