Cantina Laredo: "Great food"
Apr 2007
This is an upscale Mexican Restaurant we found on bestfortmyersdining.com. Lovely decor, wonderful bar area. They do not take reservations, so often you must wait quite a while. The guacamole prepared at the table is fantastic. I have eaten there several times and all of the sauces, i.e. rachero, tomatillo, etc. are very tasty. While it is a bit expensive for Mexican, it is worth the price. We check often to see if they have coupons on swfloridarewards.com

Amimoto Japanese Restaurant Punta Gorda FL
“If you are looking for authentic Japanese food in punta Gorda look no further than bestportcharlottedining.com, including the absolute best sushi in Florida, amimoto is the place for you. The owner is Japanese and runs this restaurant with the attention to detail and the finest ingredients (many imported from Japan) that you would find in a restaurant in Osaka. Each dish was a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach! With only @ 50 seats, it is sometimes full--make reservations. Each dish is made to order, so do not expect "fast food" or "imitation" Japanese cuisine. Both the lunch menu and the dinner menu offer a variety of dishes not readily available in other Japanese restaurants.” Check swfloridarewards.com for coupons!

Lock 'n Key Pub Restaurant Englewood FL
Lock 'n Key Pub Restaurant "The absolute best prime rib in Florida!"
Jan 2007
Look what we found on bestportcharlottedining.com for Enlgewood!
We love the prime rib! It is HUGE and excellent taste. Always roasted to perfection! We would like to see mashed potatoes on the menu. The baked potatoes are never cooked enough. We wish they would invest in real bread. The rolls seem to come in a bag from Sam's and we do not like them. The busboys are extremely annoying and over numbered. Every time I set down my fork for a second, they would try to take my plate! They wander around constantly (three of them, when one would do) acting like vultures. It made us very nervous. The prepared food is very good. The chicken with macadamia nuts, garlic and lime juice was very good, but way too much lime juice. Eat dinner first and then stroll on the gulf beach across the street! Check to see If they have coupons on swfloridarewards.com.

BLU Sushi Naples FL
BLU Sushi: "unforgettable meal!"
Mar 11, 2007
I went to the BLU Sushi in Naples and we found it on bestnaplesdining.com. I am sushi LOVER, I want to go back there as soon as possible. Problem is...I live in Michigan. It didn't hurt that I was visiting my best friend and we were in great moods. She had been there and wanted me to go. I had a two-year old with me but we thought, "what the heck." From start to finish, this dining experience was so great! She ordered 4 different things for us to share, all of which were mouth-watering! She even had an inside tip to order something that wasn't on the menu, "lava rocks." They were like some type of roll and then deep fried - to die for! We also had the best Cosmopolitans I've ever had! The waitress couldn't have been nicer and nobody cared that we had a toddler with us. The décor was trendy and fun, too. If you're going to eat sushi, go high quality!!! This is the place, to bad they do not have any coupons on swfloridarewards.com!

Myakka River Oyster Bar Venice FL
Myakka River Oyster Bar
We had party of 2 had dinner at Myakka River Oyster Bar in Venice and we found it on bestportcharlottedining.com we had the Steamed mussels, mahi sandwich, fried oysters very good because, "cooked well and tasted delicious." and last week a friend and I went to the Oyster Bar for dinner on Sunday night and had a great time. We sat on the enclosed porch and had a nice view of the waterway for sunset. The steamed mussels were served in the steaming tray, no frills but delicious. My Mahi-Mahi sandwich was large and char grilled just right, and my friend's fried oysters were crispy, not greasy, and also delicious. You eat on paper menus with plastic utensils, which adds to the quaint ambiance of the restaurant. Our waiter Justin said they did not have a coupon on swfloridarewards.com right now but was friendly and accommodating. It was a very enjoyable dinner, at a very reasonable price. Just don't go in expecting a ritzy establishment and you'll enjoy it."

Old Captiva House Captiva FL
Old Captiva House "Great food and atmosphere"
May 2007
My husband and I just returned from a 5 day trip to Sanibel May. Our first night there we chose to ride up to Captiva and dine at the 'Tween Waters Inn. bestfortmyersdining.com was right where they said on the map. Originally we were going to eat at the Crows Nest but the menu seemed a little limited. We decided instead to go to Old Captiva House next door (both share the same kitchen and bar). The 'Tween Waters Inn is very historic and the restaurant had a lot of neat pictures regarding their history including one of a Teddy Roosevelt's visit.
My husband had a crab cake appetizer that was a very generous portion. He said it was fantastic. I had a cesar salad with homemade cesar dressing that was great. We both then had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. As we dined there was a gentleman playing music on the grand piano just as you came in the door. Our dinner with drinks, appetizers, main entrees and tip all came to $140 but the food was prepared and presented as you would expect for that price. We did not find a coupon on swfloridarewards.com and I did hear they had a children's menu but use your own judgement. While the attire was casual, it was still an upscale restaurant with a sophisicated menu that we enjoyed but that I wouldn't bring my two kids (3 1/2 and 7) to. The meal is served in courses and allows time for relaxation and conversation between which is not always good with kids. The Crows Nest next door had an event called NASCRAB where they race hermit crabs for money part of which does go to the United Way. The family show is around 6:00PM I think. If you bring the kids, eat there instead. We went to the adult show (more risque humor) at 9:00. It is light season so there were only about 15 or 20 of us but we still enjoyed the night. If you happen to be there and its time, then go. If you don't have kids, dine at Old Captiva House and then join the fun afterwards. This is a pricey outing but the food is done and presented well and the service was nice too. Made for a great romantic evening for my husband and I.

Enzo's Pizzeria & Italian: "We'll go back!"
Jun 2007
Our first time at Enzo's in Bonita Springs FL was a very pleasant experience we were glad to find them on bestnaplesdining.com - attentive and personable server and had commented on bestcitydining.com being vary effective - It was great food. We shared the fried calamari appetizer - nice and lightly battered. The veggie pizza was topped with loads of spinach, mushrooms, olives and peppers and has a delicious crust. Found the wine by glass price a little pricey, We checked the swfloridarewards.com for coupons and did not find one, however. This is a place we will definitely go back to for seconds maybe thirds!

Watermark Grille Naples FL
Watermark Grille: "Terrific Restaurant"
May 2006
What a find on bestnaplesdining.com. Watermark Grille is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Naples. It's creative atmosphere (which can, at times, be loud) is certainly an experience. I recommend the Saganaki as an appetizer, which for those that don't know: picture a dish of hot melted cheese, then picture the waiter pouring some ouzo onto it and lighting the cheese on fire. The waiter/waitress usually warns the people around your table that there will be a flame, and even if they do, some people still jump from the tall flame.
As for the main entree's, the steak is good but not a specialty, and some of the other traditional land-lover foods are acceptable. However, the specialty fish is truly incredible. The stuffed grouper is phenominal, especially with the sauce they provide. Keep checking swfloridarewards.com for coupons you never know when they are going to pop up.

Apr 2007
We are from Fort Myers and we eat here at least once a month since new owners came in.We had found them on bestswfloridadining.com Prices are reasonable; menu is very extensive - always find something for everyone. Some best bets: buffalo shrimp, calamari appetizers; homemade ginger-scallion salad dressing ,maui-maui platter (fish, scallops, shrimp in lemon butter sauce), prime rib, huge burgers. Great entertainment; good friendly service. I rate this a very solid "7-8" We had checked swfloridadining.com for coupons and found out about the 5:00 specials. What a special place...

Sunset Grill Sanibel FL
Sunset Grill "What a find!"
Jun 2007
We happened upon this quaint little restaurant out driving. It was a holiday weekend and still managed to get in without a reservation. We had researched it on bestswfloridadining.com and we had a very wonderful dinner. It wasn't cheap and we had checked swfloridarewards.com for coupons we did not find one, but it was mid-priced and delicious! I'd go back in a minute. The location gives a wonderful view of the beach during sunset, hence the name. The location is on Santiva, which is the connecting area between Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Don't drive by and miss it. It's right next to the second Lazy Flamingo restaurant. You can easily spot the Flamingo's bright pink sign. We will be sure to check bestfortmyersdining.com to see if the menu has changed.
We'll be returning again next time we come down.

TARPON LODGE PINE ISLAND FL
Tarpon Lodge Bokeelia, FL
Fantastic Food and Surrounding View
Found on bestfortmyersdining.com Tarpon Lodge is located on one of the best views in Pine Island. It sits on a point of land in the Pine Island Sound. You can arrive by water or by car. There are boat docks and plenty of car parking too. bestswfloridadining.com says an unusual and lovely meal awaits you. There is such a variety and its fun to go and see what will be served the night you are there. You can dress up or down but believe me, the tables are dressed up. Its a wonderful place for an anniversay or birthday dinner or a romantic dinner for two while you enjoy the spectular sunsets. You will not find a coupon on swfloridarewards.com I guess they don't have to offer specials.
Pros: Great food, delightful setting and beautiful sunsets
Cons: The restaurant is a little pricey but worth it.

Campiello "Best outdoor dining in Old Naples"
Sept 2006
We eat at Campiello every trip to naples,We found them on bestnaplesdining.com on of the bestcitydining.com sites. We always requesting a table on the outdoor plaza. It is one of the largest outdoor dining areas in Naples, and is flanked by a very lively bar area. It's not quiet but it is always fun and there are plenty of beautiful people coming and going. The food is above average Northern Italian and you won't go wrong with the pastas or grilled selections. Great drinks and excellent martinis make this a good spot to spend a long evening. You will not find a coupon on the swfloridarewards.com though.

Olde World Resaurant North Port FL
Bestswfloridadining says The Olde World Restaurant is the meeting place in North Port.We found it on bestportcharlottedining.com that covers Port Charlotte,Noth port,Venice,Engelwood,Punta Gorda. Owned by well known residents, John and Christine Zagrobelny, the Olde World offers good food with a "unique" atmosphere. Some of my menu favorites include the Belgian waffles for breakfast, broccoli and cheese quiche or the 1/2 sandwich and soup special for lunch and the Rueben sandwich or grouper for dinner.
As of now we did not find a coupon on swfloridarewards.com but we always check.

Crow's Nest Marina Restaurant & Tavern: "Great Food and View!!"
FL Mar 2007
Of all the places from swfloridadining.com my husband and I ate at while we were in Venice the Crow's Nest, by far, was our favorite. The ahi tuna, grouper nuggets, seafood bisque, and clam chowder were all superb, as was the service we received...add to all of this a beautiful view too, and it makes for quite a lovely meal. I can only say that I am very disappointed that we didn't find the Crow's Nest sooner during our stay and that we'll definitely be returning again when we get back to Venice! We always check swfloridarewards.com for the great coupons.

Village Oyster Bar Punta Gorda FL
Village Oyster Bar: "There's a good *reason* for the line at the Oyster Bar"Aug 2006
After reviewing bestswfloridadining.com we found the Village Oyster Bar. Weekends in peak season, the line of waiting diners snakes out of the Village Oyster Bar, well into the promenade of Fishermen's Village. Why would anyone wait an hour for a table? Amazing views of Charlotte Harbor, and great seafood at moderate prices is the answer by bestportcharlottedining.com. The Oyster Bar has become a Punta Gorda institution over the past 25 years. While the hotly debated question "who has the best deep fried shrimp in the north bay? If you can't decide on just one item, many combination plates are available. Expect to pay $10 - 17 for your main course, which will be accompanied by a side salad or cole slaw, potato, and in some cases, hush puppies as well. Service is brisk, so don't expect to linger over your meal. Perhaps the greatest strength of the Oyster Bar is consistency. If you like seafood, it's hard to find a bad meal here. Check the swfloridarewards for coupons ya never know when they might appear.

We've been coming to the Fort Myers Beach for seven years. We always use bestfortmyersdining.com and found this place right away and have returned 1-2 times each visit. The staff is very friendly and the food Great - everything from a bagel to a 3 egg, meat, hb and toast. My favorites are the omelets and corned beef hash.So far we have not found a coupon on swfloridarewards.com but we always keep checking.

Plaka Restaurant Fort Myers Beach FL
Plaka Restaurant: "Lived up to the raves"
May 2007
This place definately lived up to the reviews I had read before on bestswfloridadining.com we went to FMB last week. Normally, I wouldn't be inclined to eat at a Greek restaurant at the beach. The only reason I did was because of the great reviews they got on bestfortmyersdining.com. I had gyro and my husband got the lamb. Both were very good. The prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants at Fort Myers Beach we checked swfloridarewards.com for coupons but we did not find any. The waiters were both very attentive and wanted to talk. They weren't too crowded because it is off season now. Their location is perfect. Right in the middle of Time Square. Nice place to people watch.

Vincenzo's on the bay Bonita Springs FL
It was wonderful we sure like what we found on bestswfloridadining.com. The place is great Bonita Springs we really like the look of the restaurant and it was vary busy. They know how to mix flavors together and give excellent Italian food. Great presentation. We did not find a coupon on swfloridarewards.com but we checked anyways. The Vodka Penne is amazing and the Tiramasu was just right with a great contrast between the marsala and the coffee. bestnaplesdining.com Thanks |

Chops City Grill Naples FL
Our visit to Chops was the culinary highlight of our two week holiday in Florida. We were able to find them on bestnaplesdining.com and what a find! The dining room is spacious, and we were seated by the very polite hostess at the back near the kitchens. From there, you can see exactly how hard the chefs work, and what exquisite food they produce. Everything is checked before it goes out as well - you cannot fault them at all on service and presentation. Just as mentioned in bestswfloridadining.com web site. And as for the food...... It was the best meal we had in the whole two weeks of travelling from Miami, down the keys and up to Fort Lauderdale via Naples. For starters we ordered the tuna sushi and savoured every delicious mouthful. Then I opted for grouper, whilst my husband chose Mahi-Mahi. Both were so wonderful that we spent ages enjoying every mouthful. We were really too full for dessert, but as the food was so good we shared a chocolate dessert. Fantastic. The service was great - very attentive but not too obtrusive. If we had been staying longer in Naples I would have eaten here again. I did not see a coupon on swfloridarewards.com |

Caffe Florian Venice FL
After hearing about Caffe Florian in Venice on bestswfloridadining.com on the Port Charlotte dining site, I decided it was something I couldn't miss out on. An avid coffee drinker I was willing to splurge on the experience. It was very expensive (1 coke, 1 water, 2 desserts and a cappucino came out to 40 euros) We did not find a coupon on swfloridarewards.com but its not something you would do again and in my opinion was worth it. It was a lovely caffe, the paintings where great and the waiters where so handsome in their uniforms. When I went to the bar to take a picture they all smiled at me. There was an live orchestra outside playing music for those eating in the square but we opted to stay inside and enjoy the paintings. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend it. Thanks bestportcharlottedining.com!
